Military & Veteran Support
At Leonardo DRS, providing the military with innovative technology, products, and solutions is the core of our business. We give back to the military community by contributing to military service organizations that provide direct support and services to military families. Some of our recipients include the USO, the Armed Services YMCA, and the Fisher House which provides housing and transportation for families to visit wounded members of the military. The Leonardo DRS Guardian Scholarship Fund provides college tuition for the children of service men and women killed in action. We have worked with Habitat for Humanity to build homes for veterans. We are also a proud sponsor of the Army Ten-Miler for the past ten years.
Our employees support the military community by donating goods, services, monetary contributions, and organize and participate in many worth causes across the country and overseas.
Veteran Workforce
At Leonardo DRS our veterans and reservists have been vital members of the DRS team since our inception in 1969 – they are important to our success. In 2020, we were recognized as a 'Best for Vets' employer by Military Times. We proudly employ veterans, whose skills and experience have helped shape us into a leading defense contractor.
