GES Supports Operation Homefront's Holiday Events

December 18, 2018 -- It’s a wrap. Employees of Global Enterprise Solutions (GES) at the Dulles, Va., and Tampa, Fla., offices and remote business locations donated 66 rolls of wrapping paper, 16 more than the goal, in support of Operation Homefront’s annual toy drive.

The mission of the nonprofit organization is to help build strong, stable and secure military families who can thrive in communities they work hard to defend. Space for the District of Columbia-area office of Operation Homefront is provided by Leonardo DRS at the company’s Dulles warehouse.

The Dulles location collected or purchased 3,000 gifts for the toy drive. A small team of employees participated in a wrapping event at which in two hours they wrapped 250 gifts, including electronic learning toys, art sets, and an item that was every wrapper’s dream—a set of building blocks in a soft plastic carrying bag.

Operation Homefront also organizes baby showers and events recognizing military spouses. In addition it provides such benefits as financial assistance in critical situations and mortgage-free homes.
