SI-8646 Talon Multichannel VHF/UHF Receiver

The SI-8646 Talon quad-channel receiver/signal processor is designed to detect weak signals in the presence of severe interference.  With the ability to tune between high frequency, very high frequency and ultra-high frequency in fewer than 50 microseconds, the Talon supports sophisticated applications in real-time, such as search, direction finding (DF) and beamforming. Talon brings extraordinary capabilities, right into the hands of the Warfighter.

The Talon is a smaller version of Leonardo DRS’ SI-9105 Falcon receiver, but it is just as fierce.  The Talon has a wide range of uses in environments where visibility is low or non-existent, including multi-static radar applications. From fixed ground sites to mobile airborne platforms, the Talon can be used almost anywhere.
