Mission Command Software Suite (MCSS)

When installed on a Leonardo DRS platform display or computer, such as the Joint Platform Tablet (JPT), MCSS provides a single interface that enables commanders and platform operators to control mission-critical equipment, such as sensors, communications equipment, mission command applications, navigational devices and platform vetronics.

Each MCSS-enabled device can be connected across the tactical network with adjacent platforms, remote command posts and higher headquarters to share a variety of voice, video and data.
