Leonardo DRS Appoints Jerry Hathaway as Vice President and General Manager of its Electro-Optical and Infrared Business Unit

Prior to this appointment, Hathaway held several positions at the company including Vice President and General Manager for Land Electronics and the Network Computing and Test Solutions lines of business, and Vice President of Engineering for the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance group.

He has more than 20 years of experience in the development and manufacturing of products and systems. He graduated from Clarkson University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He has also been trained and served as a Six Sigma green belt and has been certified as a Project Management Professional.

Hathaway has been published numerous technical articles and has been recognized as a key contributor to the Horizontal Technology Integration second generation infrared technology program by National Defense Industrial Association.
